There are a range of\u00a0transport options available to ΢Åĸ£Àû Anglican Grammar students.<\/p>\n
Students who live locally may walk to School at their parents\/guardians’ discretion.<\/p>\n
Racks are provided for storage of bicycles at school. If entering from Boye\u2019s Rd the racks behind the Year 5 classrooms should be used. If entering from Brick Alley, the bike racks at the Southern end of the school should be used by students of all ages.<\/p>\n
Students riding bicycles to and from school are required to wear a protective helmet of approved design, colour is immaterial. Bicycles must be secured to bike racks with a chain and lock. Please note that scooters and skateboards are not permitted on school grounds.<\/p>\n
The roadside along the western side of Kirchhofer Street is the bus drop off and pick-up zone for all school buses.<\/p>\n
Parents are also reminded that parking on the eastern side of Kirchhofer Street is illegal and will be rigorously monitored by the police. Fines of up to $319 and two demerit points can be applied.<\/p>\n
Similarly the Southern side of Brick Alley is a No-Parking area.<\/p>\n
When entering the Primary parking area, please be mindful of the pedestrian crossing and observe the signs to ensure that traffic flows in one direction when exiting the car park.<\/p>\n
Please be mindful when parking that you enter the parking bay nose first (please do not reverse your car into a parking bay as this can often take up two car spaces).<\/p>\n
Students are also reminded to use the footpaths provided of a morning and afternoon, they are not to walk across the car parking area.<\/p>\n
Bus travel is optional and eligibility for free bus travel is based on the student residential address. Our students may access ΢Åĸ£Àû Anglican Grammar via Echuca ΢Åĸ£Àû Transit (for Echuca and ΢Åĸ£Àû Township residents), Transport for NSW (NSW rural residents) and the Victorian School Bus Program (for districts outside of Echuca). Bus enquiries should be directed to Mrs Lou Kennaugh at the School Office.<\/p>\n
All NSW applications should be made online<\/a>.<\/p>\n Subsidised https:\/\/apps.transport.nsw.gov.au\/ssts\/country bus travel is provided by Dysons for our NSW country students who come to us from Barham, Barmah, beyond Bunnaloo and Deniliquin and all districts in between.<\/p>\n Students who live in ΢Åĸ£Àû township may use the Echuca ΢Åĸ£Àû Transit service and are generally eligible for subsidised bus travel from home to school \u00a0(subject to distance and \/ or safety criteria).\u00a0 All NSW applications should be made online<\/a>.<\/p>\n Also, some rural families may also be eligible for School Drive Subsidy (formerly Private Vehicle Conveyance Allowance) for the portion of the trip from home to the nearest bus stop.\u00a0 Refer to\u00a0 https:\/\/apps.transport.nsw.gov.au\/ssts\/schoolDriveSubsidy<\/a> for information and to apply online.<\/p>\n Echuca ΢Åĸ£Àû Transit provides public transport (buses) in the Echuca ΢Åĸ£Àû townships.\u00a0 Echuca township residents should refer to Public Transport Victoria<\/a> for information. Details about how to apply and an eform will be distributed in January. The School will purchase a myki card for eligible students upon receiving the eform from eligible parents. Families are invoiced for the cost of the PTV endorsed ID card, application processing and the card holder provided ($15).<\/p>\n Eligible students are entitled to unlimited travel on metropolitan trains, trams, and buses, regional bus services and V\/Line train and coach services (except for special or chartered services) operating wholly within Victoria. This Victorian Student Pass is an entitlement electronically loaded onto a concession myki. Both the myki card and PTV endorsed ID card must be carried at all times when travelling.<\/p>\n Other students may also use the public bus system to travel to Echuca as required by paying the appropriate fare.<\/p>\n Contact Echuca ΢Åĸ£Àû Transit for timetable information \u2013 03 5484 1129<\/p>\n Our Victorian students come to us from far and wide via the Echuca District Country Bus Network which is jointly administered by Victorian Department of Early Childhood Development and Public Transport Victoria and is currently coordinated from Echuca College.<\/p>\n Bus travel is provided for ΢Åĸ£Àû Anglican Grammar students from beyond Cohuna, Kyabram, Nathalia, Rochester and districts in between.\u00a0Applications for Permission to Travel (Vic Country)\u00a0should be submitted to the ΢Åĸ£Àû Anglican Grammar office.\u00a0\u00a0A special travel permit for Victorian Country bus travellers, who may use the service casually can be found here.<\/a> Please note, seats for casual travellers cannot be guaranteed and conditions apply.<\/p>\n Some families are also eligible for Private Vehicle (Car) Conveyance Allowance if they must travel more than 4.8km from home to their nearest country bus stop. If eligible, please complete the application or contact the School Office for further clarification.<\/p>\n Any Year 11 or 12 student wishing to drive to school must fill in the Year 11\/12 Permission to Drive to School<\/strong><\/em> eform on Parent Portal (PCSpider).
